Grid: classic round hole pattern
The curved lenses have a full-surface, coarser round grid, which offers maximum light incidence. This type of grid is suitable for everyone and is often used preventively.
Everyday use
Wear the Pinhole Glasses or multidot glasses every day for 10–20 minutes during your usual activities.
- Long-sightedness: ideal for close-up tasks such as reading
- Short-sightedness: promotes distance vision, e.g. when watching television, working at a screen or going for a walk
Advantages of the training
Training with pinhole glasses makes seeing an active process again. The pinhole effect enables astonishingly clear perception, while the brain stimulates the eye muscles to focus independently.
Design & comfort
The black, narrow frame is suitable for both men and women and makes a sporty, fashionable statement. Side light protection ensures undisturbed training sessions.
Eye health in a hectic world
Traditional vision exercises are time-consuming and require discipline. Training with grid or pinhole glasses, on the other hand, can be easily integrated into everyday life. You train your eyes while working on the computer, for example.
Intelligent vision training for visual impairments
In modern professional and everyday life, our eyes are often exposed to one-sided strain:
- Adaptation: Difficulties in adjusting to light and dark conditions
- Accommodation: Problems switching between near and distant vision
Training with pinhole glasses breaks through this one-sidedness and promotes more natural vision. The eye learns to see clearly on its own again.
Origins of eye training according to William Bates
William Bates, founder of modern eye training, demonstrated through numerous experiments that the focusing of the eyes depends on the six external eye muscles – not on the lens of the eye.
In 1920, he published Perfect Sight Without Glasses and developed exercises that became known as the Bates Method. Later, Janet Goodrich expanded on these approaches and published the first studies on grid and pinhole glasses.

Book: "Glücklich mit und ohne Brille- Sehkraft bis ins hohe Alter" by Felicja Faustyna (only in German)
For the new edition of ‘Glücklich mit und ohne Brille’, the author has taken the first part ‘Vision training’ from the book ‘Die gute Sicht, ein effizientes Übungsprogramm für entspanntes Sehen’ and revised it. The tried-and-tested and new exercises, massages, meditations, health and nutrition tips offered here promote the functions of the visual system, improve coordination and well-being. Regular vision training is a natural method of improving vision and restoring the eyes. The exercises presented here are valuable for people with normal vision as well as those with short-sightedness, long-sightedness, presbyopia, astigmatism and low vision. Poor vision, like good vision, is not a matter of fate, but rather the result of many factors. From a holistic perspective, the visual process plays an important role in movement control, spatial orientation, memory, thinking ability and learning, among other things. Training the eye muscles is not only an effective way to prevent eye diseases, but also helps with dizziness, tinnitus, reading and writing difficulties, forgetfulness and even neurological disorders. Creativity, coordination, balance and hearing also benefit from regular eye training. In this book you will find a black and white version of the Gute-Sicht-Sterns (Tibetanischer Lebenskreis/Tibetanisches Rad) . You will achieve better results with the colored meditation card (28 x 21 cm).
